Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Vista, CA

Salary Range: $66,000 - $83,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility

Position Summary:

Provide direct leadership and direction to Vista DC receiving, replenishment and returns associates while providing general supervision assistance of all warehouse associates. Work in cooperation with all members of the Distribution leadership team to meet daily production targets while providing a safe working environment. Ensure daily production targets are communicated and met while meeting or exceeding all standards for safety, efficiency, teamwork, and customer service. Ensure the security of the facility during the shift.

Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a busy receiving warehouse.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walking and bending required.
  • Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Extensive experience with Manhattan Associates WM Systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Infor M3 preferred.
  • Strong PC skills and MS Office skills required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills for communicating with internal and external contacts required.
  • Lift truck operator certified (requires good or correctable eyesight).
  • Early and late shift hours with extensive overtime flexibility required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign and supervise daily receiving and put away activities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Supervise Replenishment Coordinator and replenishment activities.

Check all delivery documentation for accuracy and maintain files for SOX compliance.

Interface with other departments as needed including Accounts Payable, Production, Purchasing and Shipping.

Schedule deliveries with freight forwarders and freight companies.

Manage inventory requests in WMS for product launches and defective/quarantine inventory.

Provide on-going training to new and existing associates related to specific job tasks including lift truck certification.

Perform daily inspection of entire warehouse including replenishment & picking area and building exterior around shipping and dock doors.

Assist with problem-solving techniques relating to WMS and AGS for receiving and posting issues.

Assist with service and repairs for warehouse equipment including but not limited to lift trucks, batteries, chargers, pallet jacks and all dock doors.
