Summary: The IT Project Manager furthers continuous improvement and accomplishes business objectives by evaluating, planning, and managing project activities.

Responsibilities:

• Leads efforts related to planning, execution, and delivery of projects - on time, in budget, and within scope according to business priorities.
• Manage internal and external (vendor) resources in a matrixed or direct mode within a distributed environment. Negotiate with vendors and approve vendor deliverables.
• Track and manage requirements during the project lifecycle; incorporate changes to requirements through an established change management process.
• Coordinate all aspects of medium size projects involving cross-functional and IT disciplines, coordinate projects with other on-going efforts.
• Identify and anticipate risks and issues; facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation.
• Partner with business and IT to manage scope for releases associated with projects.

Requirements:

• BS or BA in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience PMP Certification a plus.
• 7+ years total work experience with 3+ years project management experience.
• Experience partnering with business leads to harmonize business processes.
• Experience creating project plans and implementing solutions to meet objectives.
• Experience integrating multiple factories and material suppliers to enable efficient flow of product data that results in annual savings.
• Experience partnering with vendors to define, develop and implement industry solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of program structuring and work planning (using tools such as MS Project).
• The ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage the scope change process and issue identification/resolution with all stakeholders.
