Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Salary Range: $81,000 - $101,000, plus bonus eligibility

Position Summary:

Responsible for the application of Industrial Engineering techniques that support West Coast Club Manufacturing and distribution operations.

Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or similar engineering degree required.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of industrial engineering experience preferred.
  • Assembly or golf club manufacturing experience or knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • AutoCAD (or similar), and MS Office experience required.
  • Knowledge of line balance and staffing, work cell design, and time studies required.
  • Lean Manufacturing training, project management, and ergonomics experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain plant floor layouts that support labor and material flow throughout the assembly process.

Research and lead implementation of safe and cost-effective material presentation devices, handling methods, and equipment.

Create and maintain Standard Work documents, and manage the governing change process.

Identify cost reduction and avoidance opportunities throughout assembly and material delivery operations. Ensure common processes at all Ex-US locations.

Develop and update capacity data for West Coast Club Manufacturing.

Design and implement reports and procedures for monitoring manufacturing metrics.
