JOB OVERVIEW
The National Accounts Manager is responsible for driving sales among the applicable account base. This individual will facilitate the planning, execution, and follow-up of seasonal meetings in addition to preparing and analyzing a variety of different departmental reports.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of assigned account(s) including day-to day-communication, weekly performance reporting, assortment planning, meeting preparation, meeting execution, meeting follow-up and overall growth strategy
- Facilitate seasonal appointment planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly selling reports with actionable insights
- Analyze and report product sell-through and inventory metrics, suggest re-orders and identify sales opportunities
- Identify opportunities and challenges within assigned account(s) and create / implement strategies to maximize margin, sell-through, market share, and optimize sales opportunities
- Partner with Sales Operations Team to ensure the fulfillment and on-time delivery of applicable orders
- Partner with Product Knowledge Team to identify store-level needs and drive product sales
- Partner with Marketing Team to coordinate copy and photo asset requirements for applicable account(s)
- Serve as a product / service expert and learn new product lines, fabrications, and features
- Serve as an account expert and remain up to date on product trends, store trends, regional trends, and growth opportunities
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Proficient in MS Office applications, emphasis in Excel
- Proficient in SAP, or relevant ERP
- Proficient in Elastic, or relevant B2B
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to ability to prospect, negotiate and close
- Ability to analyze and present data
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
- Ability to travel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience
- Apparel experience, preferred
